SENARGENT MIGNAFANS
This village is typical through its old houses in red sandstone, from the 17-18th century. Many houses have interesting architectural details. The church was rebuilt in 1852 and has got two nice side retables in stucco dating from the 18th century. The 18th century pulpit is made of sculpted wood. The fountain wash-house was built in 1828. In the hamlet of Mignafans, there are two splendid fountains-washhouses of the 19th century, also a chapel and a grotto erected in 1912 in homage to the Blessed Virgin. The pilgrimage that has developed since then attracts numerous believers to the area every year on 15 August.
