LONGEVELLE

This small village situated northern Villersexel, is located at the edge of the river Ognon. You can do canoeing-kayaking departing from Longevelle. The 19th century church, with no steeple, contains furniture dating to the 18th century. Only a part of the bell tower and the seigniorial chapel remain. This later was founded by the Vaudrey and Gilley Family in 1651 whose coats of arms are figured on. You can see also two flowered fountains in the village.
